When do Commissions Open?
I offer a handful of commissions quarterly throughout the year. Sign up for my email list to be the first to know when commissions open.
They’re all for sale at the same time to make it fair for everyone, first come first served.
On the day and time they open you’ll find a new tab in the menu of my site that says “Commissions.” Click that and it will take you to a new page with the commissions listed.
How much are commissions?
Commissions are $275 usd (+tax and shipping). This includes me working with you to create the image, a signed one-of-a-kind print, and the digital file.
how do Commissions work?
In a nutshell: I will make you a piece in my signature style featuring your cat giant in the scene of your choice.
After you secure a slot I will ask you to send me as many good pictures of your cat as possible along with a couple ideas for locations.
I’ll find background images and send you a couple ideas for you to choose from before finishing the piece.
In the end you’ll get a titled, numbered, and signed 11x14” fine art print of the final image along with a hi-res download (formatted to 11x14” or larger if image allows) that you can share on your socials.
What kind of cat pics do you need?
This is the single most important part of the process, and the success of the final piece of art depends on the quality of the original cat pics.
I encourage you to send me as many cat pics as you can as long as they fit the criteria below. Multiple pictures are a must as it gives me the most options to work with and ensures that the quality of the final image will be high.
I also advise that you do not send me any pictures you don’t want me to use.
I’d also love to know a little about your cat’s personality. This helps inform my decision making along the way and ensures that your commission accurately reflects who you know your cat to be.
Criteria for cat pics:
Crisp, clear, and NOT blurry
Well-lit and ideally taken in natural light (by a window or outside, at a minimum a bright room)
Full body shots (this gives the most options)
Show a variety of poses (again more options)
Have a file size of 1-2+ MB (the larger the better as they will look crisp when the size is increased)
How do i send the cat pics?
Sending me a link/giving me access to a Google Drive, iCloud Drive or Dropbox is the best way to get me pictures, but email will work as well.
How do I choose a location?
I will try to accommodate any location or vibe you’re going for, whether it’s a certain city, location like the beach or space, or concept like curious or lazy.
Typically the best location ideas are broader strokes. Think “NYC” instead of “The bar on the corner of 61st and 2nd.” This gives me more options to make a stunning piece.
I’m happy to provide help in choosing the best location.
Can you use more than 1 cat?
Currently I’m only offering single cat pictures, but I’ll be opening up commissions for multiple cats in the future. Stay tuned.
How long does it take?
Typically a commission will be done in a few weeks, but the depends on where yours falls in the commission list, when I get cat pictures from you, and how easy it is to find suitable backgrounds.
I’m transparent about the process and progress and will check in with you, but you can assume the whole process will take between 4-8 weeks.
Can I purchase additional prints?
Yes! You can buy additional prints from me which I will sign and ship for you.
You’re also free to use the digital file to have prints made at the printer of your choice on the products of your choice (ie a mug or t-shirt) so long as they’re for personal use only.
I retain commercial copyright of all finished commissions and would never sell the image without your consent.
I’m not in the U.S. Can I still get a commission done?
Unfortunately, I’m only offering commissions to clients based in the United States due to VAT and international tax stuff. Hopefully in the future I’ll be able to open up commissions to everyone.

Additional Terms
By purchasing a commission you are agreeing to the following terms about the process:
• After purchasing a commission spot, I will contact you within 24 hours to start the process. If I don’t hear back from you within 60 days of that initial email I will refund your purchase and the commission will be closed.
• You will receive two ideas for the finished piece that you must choose between. This is the only part of the process where changes to the direction of the final image will be allowed. All edit requests after this point are not guaranteed.
• I retain the right to cancel the commission (with a full refund to you) for any reason.
